Nice pieces of equipment, look to be in pretty fair shape for their age.
Hope I can age as well.......

My Digger

Postby mrf-engines » Sun Feb 04, 2007 9:30 am

Nice looking equipment. My digger is very similair to yours, and even has the front wheels that yours don't. But yours has the extra shaker in the back.... Between us we have one whole one :)

OldIronLvr, I have a potato digger (looks to be) the exact one as you have posted. I began tearing it down for restoration and found that one of the main conveyor drive gear bushings was missing the grease tube and therefore it was slam worn out. Where would you suggest I look to acquire a replacement? It actually had the international harvester logo on the bushing and a part number 7257 and under that there was AA. Not sure if you can help but I am curious as I am planning to have a need for the digger this upcoming harvest season so I figured I better start searching now. Thanks so much...Edward ~SWAMPDWELLER~
