This is Old Iron Heaven's first newsletter of what I hope to be many more. A couple of the member suggested that we write the newsletter just to let all of you know what is happening with the site.
The site is progressing fairly well. We have gained a total of 6 new members for the month of January, lets all welcome them to our wonderfull community. Also we would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that we have an Event Calendar, you all are more then welcome to add your local show dates to or if you know of a show to add to it.
We have added some Webrings to the front page in the hope of driving some traffic to the site to gain some more members. We are also pondering a link exchange with clubs and museums across the country to just get our link out there. This will require a redesign of the links section which I have been planning on doing for some time.
For the site and newsletter I would like to feature some restoration articles written by the members. So if anyone has some stories with pictures etc. for the site please email me and let me know. Also I am going to feature a couple of pictures in the newsletter of member's displays, engines, tractors, or anything to do with vintage iron.

Boy it sure seems like the winter up here in the North has been long already. I for one find that I can't wait for this years upcoming show season to begin; it just can't come soon enough for Vic and I. I hope everyone is well out there for those of you we haven't heard from in a while. Remember OIH is still here and not going anywhere, we will be here for years to come. We would love have you join us in chat or on the forum so come on in and join us sometime.
I am hoping this month to find some time to get some updating done to OIH and finish up some loose ends that I have to do. If anyone would like to help me out just give me an email or if anyone has some information they would like to get out on the World Wide Web just shoot me an email and I am sure we can get something done.
I'm hoping to find some time to get back into my engine shop and get some painting done on some of my engines and I have some loose ends to tie up to prepare for next years show season. So till next month take it easy stay warm and keep the old iron moving.
